Good news for fans of the Dungeons and Dragons adventure system! The fabricated wizard halter comes in the form of a board game with two different versions on the table next to you: Basic and Premium version, the latter with painted miniatures and lots of good stuff.
Discover in this adventure the infamous Podgory, a huge dungeon where the mad wizard Blacklock has found his place. By house we mean a huge system of tunnels and loggias, full of monsters, traps and other unpleasant surprises. But it is clearly a pleasant surprise, as well as a treasure beyond imagination. So it was either that or nothing.
The gameplay is made for one player or a group of 2 to 5 players, each taking a classic D&D character, such as a warrior or a clergyman, and entering the dungeons with him. The game features new environments and bad luck cards, as well as traps and magical card games that appeared in Tomb of Destruction .
In-depth: The Dungeon of the Mad Wizard can also be combined with other D & D collaborative board game systems, including Tomb of Destruction, Temple of Elemental Evil, Legend of Drizzt, Ravenloft Castle, and Wrath or Ashardalon.
What news brings this particular adventure to players already familiar with the adventure system? We’ll tell you:
- Players can now reach level 4 with their characters and gain even more power!
- Environmental maps that are replaced when you sign a new environmental map.
- Prohibition/benediction cards – some effects create a tie between these cards and tell you how to solve their curse or bonus effect.
As mentioned earlier, the game is released in two different editions, the premium version and the basic version, the only difference being that they are miniatures.
- 42 monochrome miniatures (fully painted in the premium version)
